Who We Are

Initium Space was founded in 2021 with a clear mission: to strengthen the European space ecosystem by bridging ideas, studies, and technology development.

We support a wide spectrum of actors — from bold start-ups with disruptive concepts, to non-space companies entering the sector, to established research groups and universities. No matter where you are on your journey, we bring the experience and structure to help you succeed.

Our work is organized into three complementary business lines:

Consulting

guiding clients through ESA proposals, project management, and quality assurance.

Studies

shaping the missions of tomorrow through feasibility assessments, trade-offs, and programmatic support.

Technology

transforming concepts into hardware, from thermal and structural systems to electronics and lunar technologies.

How we do it

What sets us apart is not only what we do, but how we do it. Every service we provide is backed by first-hand experience in real ESA projects. Our team has contributed to missions such as JUICE, ALTIUS, Proba-3, HERA, and Space Rider, and to numerous ESA technology developments.

We have been in the same position as many of our clients — navigating complex requirements, building credibility, and proving technology in demanding environments. That experience is now our greatest asset, allowing us to shorten your learning curve and accelerate your path to success.

Let’s connect, explore possibilities, and take the next step to space together.
